Investigation and Field Research Agreement

This Agreement is made by the HISTORIC PARANORMAL RESEARCH GROUP of NEW YORK CITY (HPRG)

and ______________________, (Property Owner).

RECITALS

WHEREAS, Property Owner desires to grant HPRG access to certain real property located at

_____________________________ (the Premises) for the purpose of conducting an investigation into possible

paranormal occurrences and related field research; WHEREAS, HPRG desires to conduct this paranormal investigation

and/or related field research at the Premises. NOW THEREFORE in consideration of the promises and covenants set forth

herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of insufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the

parties agree as follows:

1. HPRG shall have access to the premises for the purpose of conducting a paranormal investigation and related field

research, such access shall be granted on the following dates and times: ___________________

______________________. HPRG shall have additional access at different times and dates in order to complete their

investigation and research upon mutual agreement of the parties.

2. Property Owner hereby grants access to the Premises only to all members of HPRG and their approved guests. No

member of HPRG nor any of their approved guests shall access the Premises without the explicit permission of the

Property Owner.

3. The information which HPRG obtains during its investigation and field research at the Premises is the dual property of

HPRG and Property Owner, however any public use of such information (i.e. sharing of information among colleagues,

website disclosure, etc.) shall not include the name of the Property Owner nor shall it include the address of the Premises.

HPRG will ensure the confidentiality of its relationship with the Property Owner and its investigation of the Premises. The

identity of the Property Owner and the address of the Premises shall not be disclosed by HPRG without the express written

consent of the Property Owner. The work product of the HPRG investigation and field research shall include, but is not

limited to: pictures (digital, film or otherwise); audio recordings, video recordings, data measurements, and/or oral data, site

history, property ownership, protocol methods, etc. HPRG may share its research findings and conclusions with the

Property Owner in a written report prepared for and delivered to the Property Owner. The written report will remain

strictly confidential and will not be disseminated, published or otherwise shared in any public manner without the prior

consent of HPRG. The underlying data upon which such report is based shall remain the sole property of HPRG and

Property Owner.

4. Each party agrees that it is fully aware of the risks and hazards inherent in the conduct of a paranormal investigation and

related field research at the Premises. The parties hereby assume all risks of personal injury or property damage arising

from the paranormal investigation and related field research at the Premises. For and in consideration of HPRG's agreement

to conduct such paranormal investigation and related field work and the Property Owner’s permission to allow HPRG's

entry into the Premises for such investigation, each party hereby irrevocably and forever releases, discharges, waives and

holds harmless the other party and its officers, directors, employees, sponsors, agents, and/or members, any and all claims,

losses, causes of actions and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related in any way to this Agreement and the paranormal

investigation conducted at the Premises pursuant to this Agreement. Each party voluntarily waives any claims that it may

have against the other party and understands and agrees that the other party assumes no responsibility or liability for any

injury to persons or property (including property that is lost, stolen or damaged) that may occur during the paranormal

investigation and related field research conducted pursuant to this Agreement. HPRG agrees that its members and guests

shall conduct themselves in an appropriate fashion and shall not behave poorly by performing harmful acts, using profanity,

obscenity or acting in any otherwise objectionable conduct towards any person or property located at the Premises during

its investigation. HPRG recognizes and understands that the Property Owner reserves the right to require cessation of any

such activity and the Property Owner, in it sole discretion, may require the removal of any member or guest of HPRG from

the Premises.
